Living Off the Land: Education Series with Farmer Nick

 


Apple/blueberry Pruning Event

Date to be announced

10am-4pm

$5 donation per person

Join Farmer Nick in the apple orchard. Watch and learn how to prune your apple tree. Pruning apple trees increases fruit production and plant vigor. Drop in any time between 10am-4pm.

Shiitake Mushroom Event

Saturday, March 13th

10am-2pm

This is the day to learn all about shiitake mushrooms. Farmer Nick shows the steps for natural log cultivation methods. This can be a hands on experience. Take a tour of the farm's shiitake mushroom laying yard. Cost is $5 per person 16 and older. Separate cost to bring home your own inoculated shiitake mushroom log. This is a drop in event. It will be held outside so dress warmly and wear a mask for COVID prevention.

Concerts at the Pavilion: COVID 19 Precautions

 

Masks must be worn on farm grounds unless seated. Groups must maintain social distancing when placing your chairs or blankets on the lawn-6ft apart. So if you get up to walk by concert attendees please have your mask on. We want to offer these concerts but we need you to abide by the state's guidelines. Help us by wearing your masks as noted above. If you don't have a mask you can purchase one from the parking attendant. No mask-No entry. If you do not put your mask on after having left your seat, you will be reminded to put it on. Anyone not abiding by the rules may be asked to leave.

6pm-8pm

$10 per person 16 and older.

ABRAXAS is the ultimate tribute to the music and spirit of Santana. Inspired renditions from over five decades of Santana hits and virtuoso instrumentals., veteran guitarist, If your a fan of Latin Rock, you’ll love the news. This is an evening with “ABRAXAS” as close as it gets to listening to Carlos Santana Music. This band has formed in 2016 and established themselves to perform all over NE. Ed Antonelli is an amazing guitarist, come listen to all his renditions of Carlos’s beautiful interpretations.

FATE'S LANDING. They offer soul-stirring original music, as well as a vast array of fun covers from the 50's-90's. Their distinctive sound is an Acoustic Rock vibe with overt elements of R&B, Pop, Folk and even some Gospel & Jazz.

TONY SOUL PROJECT is a hard driving dance band "from the Delta to Soul to Rock & Roll"
We have taken many of the standards of the Delta and surrounding areas and their influence & put a monstrous bass line & back beat to make the likes of Elmore, Muddy, T-Model, RL, Wolf, Hooker come to life.We have added many Motown & Stax Record tunes to our list & we dance all night long.
