Taking Bookings for Bands to Play on the Pavilion

    We will again be hosting the Douglas Cultural Council's Summer concert Series this summer. look forward to some new bands and bands that you know and love. 

   All concerts 2019 season will be on Saturdays 6pm-8pm.

Shiitake Mushroom Event

MARCH 16, 2019

10am-2pm

Cost $5 per adult 18 and older


     This is a day to learn all about mushrooms. Farmer Nick will demonstrate the steps of natural log cultivation method. It is a hands on experience for those interested. Take a tour of the farm's own mushroom log site. Separate cost to take a log home with you.

Honey Bee & Recycle Awareness Day

10am-11am Honey Bee Program

11am-4pm Recycle events

Help Save Our Planet! Learn to be a bee keeper and recycle & reuse. Both are powerful constructive use of your time that can bring about positive change to our world. You CAN make a DIFFERENCE!

  Learn about the role of the honeybees and how they are being affected by the environment. Ken Warchol, sixth generation bee keeper, will give a PowerPoint presentation on “Honey Bees in Our Environment”. There will be 15 different types of honey to taste from around the world. Don’t miss this unique honeybee day. Presentation 10am-11am     Get a tour of the farm to see how we recycle and reuse. Tours hourly starting at 12pm till 4pm. Information on how to Refuse, Reuse and Recycle. Cost five dollars per adult 18 and older.

THIN ICE is a professional high-energy 4-piece rock band that has been together since 2004. . They play great hit songs the way they should be played; with great lead/harmony vocals, accurate solos and as close to the original song's sound as possible. Going from one song to another in 3 to 4 song blocks so you can keep jamming and dancing. 

Playing a unique blend of modern, classic and party/dance rock from the 70's to today, With THIN ICE you'll have a great time rocking out and dancing with your friends listening to all your old and new favorites.

Blueberry Berry Festival

July 20, 2019

First Annual Blueberry Festival.  Come kick off our blueberry  season for Pick Your Own blueberries. There will be vendors, face painting,  and Bit' Chin BBQ food truck. 

   The event will close with a great band, The Hip Swayers! "The Hip Swayers are a quality, good time, get up and dance band that combine tight rhythms, searing solos and soulful harmonies in an eclectic mix of originals and covers, encompassing straight ahead roots rock with a country flavor."
